I sincerely thank all students and colleagues, who have contributed to the ELSA-Project during the last 20 years. Drilling of cores was funded by the “Stiftung Rheinland-Pfalz für Innovation”, “Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung” in the frame of the DEKLIM Program, University of Mainz Researchcluster “Geocycles”. Drilling on the lakes was done by Klaus Schwibus and Frank Dreher, drilling of the infilled maar structures by “Stölben Bohr, Cochem”. Petra Sigl has drawn all figures of the various publications and also this website. Frank Dreher counted the pollen.
